HOW IT'S MADE

Each rack carries its own personality, reflecting the recycled

materials and craftsmanship that go into every step.

Waste collection

We gather plastic waste directly from local waste centers in Bali. Every gram is locally sourced and recycled.

How much do we recycle?

Each Bali Board Rack contains

29 kilo of recycled plastic
30 flip flops saved from the ocean
Local Balinese waste

Sorting

The plastic is sorted by color to bring out
unique, vibrant designs in each rack.

Washing

The sorted plastic is washed thoroughly
in our eco-friendly washing station.

Drying

We dry the plastic on racks made from
reclaimed pallet wood, readying it for the next steps.

SHREDDING

The dried plastic is shredded into small
pieces for easy moulding.

PREPARING THE MOULD

We prep the moulds that will shape each
recycled plastic sheet. We have special
recipes for each colour combination.

HOT PRESSING

The shredded plastic is heated and pressed, transforming it into solid, durable sheets.

CNC CUTTING

Our CNC machine precisely cuts the sheets into the shape of the Bali Board Rack. All production waste will be recycled.

DESIGNING

We create unique designs for each rack, drawing on Bali’s surf culture and natural beauty. Let us know if you have a special colour request.

ASSEMBLY

The sorted plastic is washed thoroughly
in our eco-friendly washing station.

IN COLLABORATION WITH INDOSOLE

We’ve partnered with Indosole, a flip-flop brand, to source recycled flip-flop mats. These mats provide board grip and protection, adding an extra layer of sustainability.
